The Food Pantry provides assistance to needy families in the form of emergency food and clothing.  All you need is a big heart and hands to help out in either prayer, counseling, filling bags, picking up and stocking food from other organizations and cleanup. This team stays busy every day of the week with pickups and opens the Food Pantry to the public at ALM on Thursdays from 9 – 11 AM

ALM has won the Care Cup five years in a row for doing the most service projects on this day of serving the community! We God’s love in a practical way by painting, doing minor house repair, or yard work in this annual event led by Somebody Cares Tampa Bay. All sorts of repair and maintenance projects are completed for the elderly, handicapped, or other people who are not able to accomplish this on their own.  Approximately 4,000 volunteers and over 100 partners from area churches, businesses and other non-profit ministries are involved in CareFest® on an annual basis. CareFest® not only blesses the recipients of the services and the volunteers, but it serves to further unify the Body of Christ in Tampa Bay.

Holidays of Hope

Each year we participate in the Holidays of Hope at Thanksgiving and Christmas time. We assist in registration and food/toy distribution for both holidays. Contact Kat Smith at
